Digging
Dogs dig. This is a normal behavior in dogs. Some dogs dig once in a while and some dogs, especially certain breeds, will leave craters all over your yard. If your yard is your pride and joy confine your dog to an area that is away from your prize petunias. I love my yard and supervise my dogs when they are in the yard. You can also create a special place in your yard where your dog is allowed to dig. You can encourage digging in a specific area by burying chews and toys. Also keeping this area wet during warm weather will make it you dog’s favorite excavation site.
Also, remember the golden rule. A tired dog is a happy dog.
