Give the Gift of Love this Holiday Season! Brownie is a wonderful dog who has been at the shelter way too long. It’s been months! He’s a 7-year old chocolate lab mix who is eager to please and walks great on a leash.  His family gave him up because they didn’t have time for him. Brownie’s time is running out.  Can you be the person to save his life this holiday season?

Brownie's time is running out...

Brownie is a perfect chocolate Lab mix, but his owners turned him in to the shelter because they no longer wanted to take care of him. Through no fault of his own, Brownie may not get to live out his life naturally, due to overcrowding at the shelter. He needs a home now! PLEASE consider adopting him, and tell your friends about his plight.

Come meet Brownie, Bo, Cubby and their friends at the Bishop Vons tomorrow between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. during our Adoption Day event.

We love this adorable 9-month-old Lab, who has the cutest pointed ears! Cubby came in to the shelter last summer and has been a model citizen, but so far, nobody has adopted her. She is a really good girl and so deserving of a good forever-home. PLEASE consider making her a part of your family – you won’t be sorry!

REMEMBER: The next Adoption Day is this Sunday at the Bishop Vons, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can meet Cubby and Bo in person, plus their fine friend Brownie and other wonderful dogs who all need homes. Bring your friends!

This is Bocephus, a handsome shepherd mix who has been living at the shelter for a long time. Everybody loves him – he is great on a leash, even-tempered, friendly and energetic. He would be terrific pulling you around on a skateboard, going rock climbing, or whatever activities you like to do. For some reason, Bo has been overlooked by shelter visitors looking to adopt, and his time is running out. Won’t you consider giving Bo another chance? Come on down to the shelter and meet him! You will fall in love.

The Inyo County Animal Shelter is severely overcrowded. If you know anyone who has been considering adopting a dog, they should act now. Some dogs are running out of time. Please pass this message on to friends, family, and co-workers. Also, remember our Adoption Day on Sunday in front of Vons in Bishop from 11:30-2:00pm.
Lastly, if you can find some time to walk dogs, I know it would be greatly appreciated.
