Dog Adoption Day–Winnie finds her forever home!

We had a gorgeous sunny day in front of Vons on Sunday for our Dog Adoption! Many people came to see and play with Mr. Rogers, Winnie, Shiloh and Peggy. It was Winnie’s lucky day–she went home with a great family who will give her the loving home she deserves.

Here is Winnie with Gary Williamson, the longtime manager of The Toggery in downtown Bishop, and Winnie’s new owner. Williamson and his wife attended the adoption event Feb. 13 with the hope of finding an older dog to bring home. They recently lost a beloved animal, and when they met Winnie, they felt a connection:

Dog Adoption Day this Sunday!

ESDR Garage Sale Fundraiser!

Time for another garage sale to raise funds for the Eastern Sierra Dog Rescue. We’ll have tons of clothes, sporting equipment, electronics, appliances, dog and cat items and misc. things! The address is 286 May St. near the corner of Third St. in Bishop. Get there early!

If you want to donate items for the garage sale, please drop them off at the same address between 5 and 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5. Thank you!

Dog Adoption Day October 17th

Adoption Day in Mammoth Cold but Successful!

The Adoption Day at Mammoth Pet in Mammoth last Saturday, August 28th was a cold, but successful day. The dogs got a lot of publicity and applications were filled out for 3 of these sweeties! A huge thanks to the volunteers who donated their time to transport and handle dogs, and also to Mammoth Pet for providing help, a great space and advertising.
